Coaching Philosophy

Kody’s faith in Jesus Christ is the foundation of his life and coaching philosophy. He believes that every athlete is uniquely created in God’s image and gifted with talents that can be used to glorify Him. While athletic achievement and competitive success are important, Kody believes the greatest victories happen when athletes grow in their faith, character, and purpose.

As a coach, Kody is committed to leading through servant leadership, integrity, and love, following the example set by Christ. He views coaching as a calling and an opportunity to positively impact the lives of young people beyond the game. His goal is to help athletes develop discipline, perseverance, accountability, and confidence while understanding that their identity is found in Christ, not in their performance.

Kody challenges athletes to pursue excellence in everything they do, competing with humility, gratitude, and respect for others. He believes success is measured not only by wins, championships, or statistics, but by the character that is built, the relationships that are strengthened, and the way athletes represent Christ through their actions.
