ABOUT HOOVER BASEBALL CLUB

Developing Players for the Long Run

Hoover Baseball Club has been providing competitive baseball opportunities for players in the Hoover and Birmingham area since 2007.

WHO WE ARE

Built Around Player Development

Hoover Baseball Club was founded in 2007 to provide competitive baseball opportunities for players in the Hoover and Birmingham area.

Our original teams were built primarily from players zoned for Hoover High School. That foundation eventually produced a group of players who helped Hoover High School capture the 2017 Alabama High School Baseball State Championship.

We provide coaches and players with a consistent system of instruction, training, preparation, and competition. Our goal is to create an environment where players can develop their skills, learn how to compete, and understand what it takes to succeed at the next level.

“We coach the coaches to coach the kids.”

Long-Term Development

Player Development Is a Marathon, Not a Sprint

We conduct evaluations to assist with the formation of new teams and to identify areas where existing teams may need additional players. When possible, we prioritize continuity and long-term relationships rather than annually cutting or releasing players.

Our goal is to invest in players over time and help them develop through multiple stages of their baseball journey.

Players and families interested in learning more about opportunities within HBC are encouraged to contact us.
